The rest where you're referencing Fate/Destiny/Higher-Power is a topic all on it's own and separate from probability/luck/coincidence entirely. It's saying that probability doesn't exist at all and that everything in life is set in stone. This portion is only reliant on belief systems stemming from religion/spirituality mostly and in my opinion is a very boring outlook on life, it's almost like saying "choices/events don't matter".
However, If there is a probability that all that does exist... well firstly, it relies on probability in of itself and I'm sure it would be considered "lucky" for those who'd want it to be the case, which ironically would prove that it isn't the case due to a paradox.
And Secondly, yeah it probably has something to do with crabs.
2. Exactly!
3. Luck itself is nothing more than terminology used to describe probability and it's outcomes. An example of this is:
If someone were to randomly shoot you in the street for no reason, that would be rather unlikely for the average person and also considered a bad thing to have happen, so this is seen as bad-luck. Only if something is both low probability and a negative outcome can it be described as unlucky and vice versa for lucky.
So really, your question is moreso whether probability is real, and of course it is, because that system applies to literally everything at any given time... and coincidences are just probabilities that align due to chance, a statistic that is bound to happen from time to time, due to coincidences not usually being seen as impossibilities or miracles (And when they are it's because the outcome is just extremely unlikely).
So what is luck really? Do things like Fate, Luck, Destiny, Higher power plans, and Coincidences even exist? Obviously things needed to happen for us to get here. Even those things or events that made us still had to have been caused by something.
In the end it will always be Science VS Spirit.
2 quagmire toilet issac but gamble slots haha
3 Do you think luck is real? If so then what is it, and how were the devs able to program a supposedly ethereal force into a game? Of course its all rng, just % chances through code but you could say that luck is a sort of stat you get when you were born in real life that applies to all things domino style but with a spectrum of effects good or bad. If that is the case then what gives that said stat buff or debuff, That is another question. I subscribe to pure coincidence, usually events that happen are set in motion by other events that were also said it motion by others all the way back towards the big bang and even earlier before that.
(by "event" I mean a point in time that causes another thing to happen, so anything in the Past and Present in a straight line with before the big bang being the start and now being the current point or so I think)
