Introducing the Original Nomad: Rrift Towards Your Friends at Unmatched Speed!

If your primary goal is to reach your friends in the fastest possible manner, then look no further than the Original Nomad. This high-speed vessel has been designed with a singular purpose: to propel you towards your destination without the need for Xanthium, allowing for swift travel across solar systems.

***If you wish for a variant meant for tier-0 players, prioritising hydrogen over portable batteries, look at the second and most popular variant in the Nomad Series.***

Here's how you can operate the Original Nomad:

1. Prepare Your Power Source: The Nomad is powered entirely by portable batteries. Ensure you have at minimum eight (8) tier-1 portable batteries or one (1) tier-3 portable battery. These batteries will serve as the power supply for your journey. Note: While using tier-0 batteries is possible, it is impractical. We would advise newer players to look into the hydrogen variant of the Nomad.

2. Set Up the Rift Generator: Locate the portable battery wall socket next to the teleporter and insert your Tier-0 batteries. This will provide the necessary power to initiate the rift jump.

3. Insert Xanthium for Initiation: Place one (1) unit of Xanthium inside the rift generator. This Xanthium will be utilized to initiate the jump, but it will not be consumed in the process.

4. Select Your Destination: Choose your desired destination for the rift jump.

5. Set Rift Mass Limit to Zero: Adjust the rift mass limit to zero. This configuration ensures you will not consume any Xanthium.

6. Engage and Drift: Activate the rift generator to initiate the jump. Hold on tight as the Nomad propels you towards your destination at incredible speeds.

This ship was designed for mid-to-end game players. Tier-3 batteries, when used in this vehicle, will rarely, if ever, require refill. This convenience is why this ship exists: bypassing the need for hydrogen and manual work.

It's important to note that a single use of the rift generator will consume approximately 65% of a Tier-1 battery. With eight Tier-1 batteries, you can perform approximately 12 jumps. Higher-tier batteries provide even more jumps, ensuring a plentiful power supply to sustain your rift jumps and power security systems such as shields.

In the event of a complete battery loss, the Nomad still retains a travel speed of 34 m/s, allowing you to continue your journey, albeit at a reduced pace. Additionally, the onboard solar panels can serve as a last resort measure, enabling you to open rifts even without power.

WARNING: Exercise caution when activating the shield with low-tier batteries. The shield consumes a significant amount of power and can quickly drain your batteries. To avoid depletion, ensure you have tier 2, and ideally tier 3 batteries.

Experience the thrill of drifting towards your friends at unparalleled speeds with the Original Nomad. Its efficient design makes it a cost-effective and powerful vessel for interstellar travel. Get ready to embark on exhilarating journeys without the constraints of Xanthium, and enjoy the freedom of swift exploration with the Original Nomad!
