Lastly, the electric store room contains all the necessary controls and equipment for startup and maintenance of the electric propulsion system.

The PNJ-56 does not carry torpedoes but features two light autocannons mounted on the deck. However, these autocannons are rendered unusable when the submarine is submerged, as they are primarily intended for surface engagements. The submarine's primary purpose is to gather information covertly and relay it back to command centers or naval forces.

The main propulsion system of the PNJ-56 is an electric generator that produces no noise and requires no fuel. This electric propulsion system ensures the submarine's silent and efficient movement underwater, reducing the risk of detection by enemy sonar systems.
