Report a translation problem
I had a hunch that it might have been tied to effects settings ala Niagara Machineguns, but the same issue presented itself on 'maximum' as it did on 'high'. As it is, I'm pretty much stumped as to what the reason could be.

This is on a relatively minimal installation with no known conflicts (i.e. no YAML, no mods that add additional variants or modify HPS or MDL files), with DoorsandClaws set to the highest possible priority - loading last and overwriting everything else.
Neither the "automatically open player 'mech doors at launch" nor manually opening doors via keybind work.
This issue doesn't functionally affect gameplay (weapons will still fire with no issues), but missiles firing through closed bay doors is... somewhat distracting
