One Meal A Day

Description
This mod makes people want to eat when their Fullness drops bellow 25%, causing them to consume food once per day. They will look to eat with priority 1 when below 15%.

Moreover, the mod adds an option in the Options menu that allows users to adjust the threshold for eating between 20% and 80%. Keep in mind that survivors lose 75% of their fullness every 24 hours.

N.B. The mod adjusts the thresholds at which the happiness pleasures and troubles related to stomach fullness are triggered. This ensures that people will feel unhappy when they are actually supposed to eat, rather than 12 hours earlier.

This does conflict with the fixed vegetarians mod though, with both active (and no other mods) it is giving everyone the -20 "distasteful" debuff when they eat, regardless of if they are vegetarian or the meal is meat.

This is especially useful when playing the Guardians scenario, Hope no longer recharges herself on the relatively expensive energy drink when she doesn't need to!

Thank you for the mod.
Can this be done for sleeping & relaxing too?
I want to change the threshold at which they want to relax or sleep.

Mod is kind of fukt when it comes to compatability. It's broken with both Blue Moss Expedition and More Interactions. In BOTH cases, it causes tons of stupid buffs to shower upon your dudes while they are eating.

This is almost 100% certainly caused by the changes to happiness. Can we have a version without it, or some kind of fix? Two mods that work together fine, both are broken with this one mod.

Oh, did I forget to mention that, @tiamats4esgares?

These values/pieces of content are all interconnected. You can't adjust one without affecting the others, or the game balance will be thrown off.

In this case, if I simply tweaked the hunger threshold, the survivors would be unhappy for 9 hours a day because they would feel the need to eat even when they don't want to.

This mod also greatly lowers debuffs from being hungry, and gives more buffs for being full. Stealth cheat. Bad mod. D:

That's a good question, @antlucasexe. I will have to investigate why it's done this way.

Huh. This explains why my survivors insist on completing all Handling tasks before they even consider going to eat or relax when Handling is set to 3. If there are enough tasks to last all day, they just don't eat until it becomes critical.

Would it not be wiser to move Eating, Relaxing and Sleeping to appear before Handling in the priorities table?

Regarding priorities, Eating, Relaxing, and Sleeping are hidden activities that appear after Handling in the Activities UI. By default, they are assigned priority 3. As long as all other activities have a priority of 3 or higher number, survivors will eat, relax, and sleep whenever their respective needs arise.

However, if there are activities with priority 1 or 2, survivors will prioritize those tasks until their levels of fullness, relaxation, or rest reach low levels. At that point, the priority of the corresponding eating, relaxing or sleeping activity should increase to 1.

Unfortunately, this behavior is currently not functioning correctly.
