Rudy "Lynx" Roberts - English Translation

Roberts is an absolute all-rounder. He was born in Seattle. His father was a police officer who was literally executed during a bank robbery when he tried to negotiate with the gangsters. Since then, his son Rudy set out to become a police officer and avenge his father.

As a child, he moved to Los Angeles with his mother because they associated Seattle with too many sad memories. At 13, he joined a gun club against his mother's wishes. The chairmen there noticed his extremely calm weaponry, as well as the amazing precision with which he achieved impressive results.

Roberts graduated from college with top grades in all subjects. Due to his shooting skills, which won him several tournaments, he came to the attention of the police as well as the army. Against all expectations, however, he returned to Seattle and applied for a job with the police department. However, he did not state his true motives when applying to the Special Forces. He was happily accepted into the service and completed his basic training, 2 years earlier than usual. Because of his perfection in marksmanship, Roberts was assigned as a sniper to provide security during Special Forces missions.

Thus, he constantly developed his shooting skills. He is also an intelligent, self-thinking man with reflexive reactions. His police record literally states, "Through his quick reactions, Rudy Roberts saved the life of one of his colleagues twice in a matter of seconds. The colleague was a go-between in a robbery by two psychopaths involving 14 hostages. Roberts was positioned as a sniper on a rooftop. One of the gangsters had a hostage as a shield and held a gun to her temple while discussing with the negotiator. Suddenly, he took aim at the police officer. Roberts pulled the trigger and shredded the gangster's hand, when suddenly the second also drew his gun. The latter, however, did not survive the shot through the brain. When Roberts later gave his statement he said, "Actually I didn't want to eliminate him, but he took a step forward and so I couldn't see his hand anymore. So all that was left was his head.""

Through a detour to the Bomb Squad, Roberts learned some skills in handling explosives and defusing them. However, he found that too boring. He later became head of sniper training, but still participated in active duty. Through his good contacts in the police force, he had been able to identify by name the previously uncaught gang of thugs who had executed his father. They knew the members of the gang, but had not been able to arrest them. Now the opportunity arose to avenge his father. During a burglary of a jewelry store, the police managed to capture the perpetrators in the building. Roberts volunteered for this operation and positioned himself on the 1st floor of a building opposite. To the gangsters' dismay, Rudy was also trained in night fighting. His special equipment enabled him to locate the "Lynx gang." Patiently he waited until all five could be seen. The rest I prefer to leave unmentioned, except for the fact that two bullets were later found in the head of each gangster. It has not yet been determined whether Roberts had an accomplice, but even experts believe one could not do it alone. As a result of this event, Roberts was dishonorably discharged from the police service. Since then he has been given the nickname "Lynx".
