T-54

Many countries, especially third and second world countries, still operate the T-54/ T-55. These tanks will have been upgraded to meet modern requirements, including thermal imaging systems and modern fire control systems.
As of recently, the Russian Federation has pulled T-55 tanks out of storage. These tanks do not seem to be serving as tanks, rather, they are stripped of their turret and used as an anti-aircraft or anti-infantry system, using old anti-aircraft guns. They may also be used to provide short distance, direct fire support with high explosive rounds, but they lack the range to effectively do so.
