USN Ordinance Kit

Description
This set was put together specifically for use with my SB2C-4 Helldiver, however the contents can be used with any US Navy or US Army aircraft that would like the appeal of having ordinance that not only look the part of there real counterpart, but are also highly effective in their roles. MOST of these bombs/mines were made using actual original USAAF documentation and schematics.

For SB2C: For use with my SB2C, you will have to delete the torpedo that it comes standard with in order to install a different center ordinance. When going to install, use the top RED connector within the bomb bay to connect the 1600 lb bomb, Mk13 Mod0 mine. Use the ORANGE connectors in order to connect either the Mk17, or Mk29 Depth bombs, otherwise the doors will jam. All wing mounted ordinance only requires a copy paste, If using 58 gallon tanks, remember to connect them to the aircraft and turn their pumps on.

M1 Bomb lift: All controls are marked on the lift, the release is located on the back of the tray facing the user. Do not use the lift to move Mk13 Mod 0 mines as they tend to upright themselves.

HVAR Rockets: Simple unguided explosive rockets, they tend to have a slight curve up so be sure to practice and learn them.

500 lb GP Bomb: Simple 500 lb glide bomb, nothing special.

1600 lb AP Bomb: A powerful punch for sure, this bomb is sure to destroy anything you hit with it. When the Bomb is released, a small explosive charge is detonated in order to help propel it out of the bomb bay and away from the aircraft to ensure the bomb won't get stuck.

Depth Bombs Mk17(Smaller) and Mk29(Larger): These depth charges are the US navy standard. They are in their anti-skip flat nose configuration often seen in latewar. These Bombs have 5 depth springs just as they did in real life. On the top side of the torpedo you can change your spring. The 5 positions are, 25ft, 50ft, 75ft, 100ft, and 125ft depth springs. Be sure to set them before takeoff, otherwise you'll be set for the lightest spring with a 25ft depth setting.

Mk13 Mod0 Mine: This is a Magnetic fuse proximity mine, it has a proximity of 6.5ft (2 meters/8 blocks). To ensure proper deployment of the mine avoid shallow water and drop between 25ft-100ft above the water, this mine also . They have an odd flight path due to their construction, they do not fly like normal bombs so be careful.

58 Gallon Drop Tanks: Drop tanks with 58 Gallons (220 liters) of extra fuel. Upawn installing them, make sure to connect it via the hose port and activate the vehicles aux pumps.

I hope you enjoy this set of ordinance, expect more to be added with time, a lot of these devices are much more complex than meets the eye and require a lot of research and time to be both 1:1 and function as they should. Now, get out there and make your foes deal with a logistical nightmare in style!
