Description
Elusive Productions presents:
Hover Race - World

Have you always wanted to race through a voxel world with a hover speeder?
The time has come !
Drive through different biomes like desert, forest, craters, underground caves and mountains.
Compete with up to 11 other players or chase your own best time.


How to play:
Subscribe and load the game. All mods are loaded automatically.
It is recommended to load the game first of all in single player so that all mods are on your system and the loading time when joining a multiplayer session is shortened.

Had to read twice.
Honesty.... no idea xD Never encountered this behavior.
Maybe its a thing with the thrusters mod, but i don´t know. This mod is necessary though as it delivers compact engines with plenty of thrust to compensate for inertia.
The best I can recommend is to just drive the race as it's meant to be and not turn off the dampeners or power. :)

I should also mention that the dampeners are still on, but upon checking turning them off and on also causes a bit of wiggle and slide, even with the grid power off.

I was just messing around with cruising around the planet while watching TV, not doing the track at all, just letting the way the craft settles out when it hits the ground decide what my heading is, so it's not like this is that important, but it still might have an effect of the performance of the craft somehow.

Hi, great track you made, reminds me of that Podracer game, but I noticed a funny thing I assume is a byproduct of mods.

If you turn the power off when you are heading up into the sky, let your craft hit the ground and settle out to a stop, then with the craft on a slope, hit W before turning the power back on, it starts to move slightly with the power still off, like something is kicking out just a little bit of thrust in one direction or another, even though there should be no charge.

I don't know enough about the mods to speculate what is causing it, but you might consider having a chat with some mod makers about it, because apparently "OFF" is not true off, something is a bit broken.

The blue voxel line should be clearly visible and lead to the checkpoints without the need of the HUD. For the best experience i recommend to turn off the HUD completely. :)

I LOVE IT !!!
Looks amazing and is fun to race. The racers are well balanced and have a good handling for the track. Thank you verry much.
My only recommendation for Users: set "show distance of antennas" to 750m or less.

The map is uploaded in creative mode with block destruction turned off.
Are you sure you didn't accidentally change something? I just tested again and it wasn't possible to damage anything.

The mods aren't too intensive and Hover engines are always fun! I really did enjoy racing across the map, and I can't wait to try it out with friends. My only recommendation is to do this in creative mode with damage off to avoid any destruction of your vehicles via collision with other racers or the environment. Well done creator.
