If Better Birch Trees 3.2 is not showing when starting a new game then you need to clear your downloads cache:

Click on the “Steam” menu in the top left corner. In the drop-down menu, select the “Settings” option if you're using a Windows PC or “Preferences…” if you're using a Mac. Select “Downloads” from the left sidebar. In the “Clear download cache” section, find the “Clear cache” button and click on it. - NordVPN

Open and then quit Dwarf Fortress and you will see that the mods will be downloaded (works with all mods for any game you play).

Thanks, this worked! I will be sure to use this info for my other mods as well.

A friendly reminder to anyone downloading workshop mods to delete all files, besides the "mod_upload" file of course, in the mod folder so as to remove any duplicates of any mod you may have.

This will make it easier when updating to newer versions of mods when they are released. I did that myself after seeing several copies of the same mods that I subscribed to.

The CUT_GRAPHICS token is invalid also, you can remove that and this mod will still work by overwriting the existing graphics for birch. This doesn't work for layered graphics (once layered graphics are read, they can't be changed), but it will work for trees since they're static.

The STEAM_DESCRIPTION token is optional. If you remove it, you won't have to update the description every time you upload an update. Tokens also don't support line breaks, so the DESCRIPTION token isn't being used by the game. No error is shown because it's disregarding any lines that aren't fully enclosed within brackets on the same line.

Putting a URL in the info.txt is generating errors: Unrecognized mod info token: url=https

Now it makes me wonder why that's not in vanilla. They haven't had the time to polish the art for diversity yet I wonder?
