High Function Gyro

New and very much improved Aircraft Gyro!


In the space of a 2x3 controller this gyro can fly an air craft in 3 different flight modes and if you include the Autopilot Expansion can fly in another 4 flight modes. Unlike the older controllers: v1.0 , v2.0 this controller does it all. Using lessons learned from the past versions, this controller can stabilize, level, circle, and land planes. It has all the features of versions 1.0 and 2.0 but no longer requires another gyro in the system.

The gyro can be displayed by either a 1x1 monitor or Composite panels.
AP Expansion
AP Expansion
Tick to ON if the AP Expansion is present.
Brake key
Brake Key
Choose what key on your seat will activate brakes. This can be set to None if desired.
R
Red
The red value of text on the screen.
G
Green
The green value of text on the screen.
B
Blue
The blue value of text on the screen.
Bypass key
Bypass Key
Choose what key on your seat will bypass the flight controller. This can be set to None if desired.

Auto Trim Roll
Choose if the controller automatically trims the Roll axis.
Rl Trm Spd
Roll Trim Speed
Sets the speed of the trimming.

Initial Pitch Trim
Sets an initial trim to the Pitch axis. This will output even if auto trim is off.
Atrm Pc
Auto Trim Pitch
Choose if the controller automatically trims the Pitch axis.
Pc Trm Spd
Pitch Trim Speed
Sets the speed of the trimming.

Initial Pitch Trim
Sets an initial trim to the Yaw axis. This will output even if auto trim is off.
Atrm Yw
Auto Trim Yaw
Choose if the controller automatically trims the Yaw axis.
Yw Trm Spd
Yaw Trim Speed
Sets the speed of the trimming.

Sets an initial trim to the Yaw axis. This will output even if auto trim is off.

Autopilot Turn P Coefficient
The proportional coefficient of the PID loop controlling Turns in any Autopilot mode.

Autopilot Turn I Coefficient
The integral coefficient of the PID loop controlling Turns in any Autopilot mode.
AP Trn D
Autopilot Turn D Coefficient
The derivative coefficient of the PID loop controlling Turns in any Autopilot mode.
AP Trn Rl
Autopilot Turn Roll Coefficient
Controls how much Roll is used during a turn in any Autopilot mode.
AP Trn Pc
Autopilot Turn Pitch Coefficient
Controls how much Pitch is used during a turn in any Autopilot mode.
AP Trn Yw
Autopilot Turn Yaw Coefficient
Controls how much Yaw is used during a turn in any Autopilot mode.
Rnwy Align
Runway Alignment
Controls how much to turn to line up with the runway in Landing mode.
Flr Alt
Flare Altitude
The altitude the plane will try and reach after cutting the throttle in Landing mode.
Crs Alt
Cruise Altitude
The maximum altitude the plane will try and reach in Landing mode.
Glide Slope
Glide Slope
The angle of decent the plane takes.
Crs Thtl
Cruise Throttle
The throttle during Cruise in Landing mode.
Stop Thtl
Stop Throttle
The throttle on the ground in Landing mode.

same, vilent crash every time...

WHY is it so violent when landing? i'm far up in the air, good length away for it to just nicely pitch down, BUT NO! it proceeds to do a NOSEDIVE into the ground and then entirely crash.

when i click on land on the screen nothing happens even after entering all data fields

I have 1 Question? Does this thing even work???? despite trying 10+ times i can't activate any of modes either using the screen or panel. It's a good idea for planes but it is very confusing to use on the plane so maybe add a guide in the description of this vehicle on how to use it.

:steamthumbsdown: did a 180 when we touched down and was VERY jerky when lowering the altitude like it went near vertical then jerked close to verticaly down and so on
