@kuroshi, will it break my game if I set it to something like 10000km? I'm not sure but I don't wish to use it in multiplayer I wish to use it at least in singleplayer. if I can do this I may be able to make absolutely massive grids (100km+) but my problem is that the game engine's view distance seems limited to 20km but can that number be raised using this mod?

@yahgamer
when you setup a server you have an option for the sync distance inside the enviroment settings.

and i sorely miss that option inside the worldoptions for sp and coop games.

@yahgamer open the mod folder, go to scripts, open the SyncDistance.cs file in any text editor and change the number in the line
"MyAPIGateway.Session.SessionSettings.SyncDistance =10000"
To the amount in meters you want, then upload that yourself as a mod.

Thanks! This has helped out since every time I try to increase the sync distance it resets it when I load up multiplayer (peer to peer). I know that dedicated servers allow you to change it but me & my friends don't know how to set up all that :)

I mean any world hosted from the game and not the dedicated server software/torch.
While you can still edit the sandbox file to change the settings, this is much more convenient and less prone to error.
