Description
Reworks flashbangs so they no longer hamper your mercs until you rest for 12 hours.

In vanilla flashbangs apply the tired status to hamper your movement, this is fine but the status is not removed until you end combat and rest in a sector for 12 hours.

This mod makes flashbangs apply a new disoriented status effect which provides the same debuff tired does but only lasts for 2 turns. This is in addition to still applying suppression.

No longer will you get flashbanged at start of a map and have to spend 20+ turns debuffed slowly moving around map then have to rest for 12 hours after combat.

Idea inspired by benzi in discord.

@don cheadle it effects both although it may be outdated with new patches.

sorry if you've answered this before, but will this mod also apply to the flashbang rounds for the MGL?

Mod editor oddities basically when I first generated the mod I generated the new status effect in the combateffect editor mod tool. When I later recreated it in the mod instead of generating a new effect it was referencing the one stored in the mod tool. So when I was testing it everything worked fine as I still had the original effect saved locally in my mod editor. For other users it was trying to reference something not present causing the lockup. Only way I could make it work was deleting any trace of the effect from my PC and rewriting it lol

Okay same problem still persists with the humanoid legion enemies in Port Cacao. The game becomes unplayable after an enemy is flashed, basically I can click everything and the sounds work, but the grid disappears and I cannot actually take actions, it just has the sound cues for stuff like overwatch and take cover.

I was flashing hyenas in this case together with Legion goons. I used Blood to throw it as his first throw action (the perk gives you a lower cost for the first throw with him). None of my guys were flashed. Anything other info I can provide to help troubleshoot? I think it could very well be due to the Hyenas, as they are an animal? I am about to try it on human enemies now.
