This mod gives random chances to all sorts of things including but not limited to the possibility of getting jade or gold from stone cutting instead of stone blocks and horribly ineffective cooks burning themselves at the stove.

If you have any fun suggestions for chance events, situations, outcomes, problems, etc... post 'em in the discussion and I'll see what I can do. No promises though as I'm very busy and the suggestion needs to make sense too. The aim of this mod is to make your time on the Rim feel more realistic. Have a level 2 cook with no passion making meals? Well... it only seems fair they get a cut every so often... who knows, maybe they set the kitchen on fire.

Things that can happen so far...
  • Pawns
    • Can be electrocuted if electronic building repairs fail
      • based on worker skill + mod setting
      • worker will be stunned if electrocuted
      • explosion at the building location will trigger
      • electrical fire may trigger based on mod setting chance
      • building may short circuit based on mod setting chance
      • worker may be injured based on skill + mod setting + damage curve in config
    • Can gain new thoughts (negative and positive) while viewing artwork

  • Jobs
    • All based on worker skill + mod settings + work type + chance curves in config
    • [Cooking] Can output extra meals or meals of higher quality
    • [Cooking] Chance to set get injured or set the kitchen on fire
    • [Corpse butchering] Can output extra materials (meat)
    • [Mech butchering] Can output random bonus products
    • [Mech smashing] Can output random bonus products
    • [Mining] Can output random bonus products
    • [Stone cutting] Can output extra materials or other random bonus products

  • Map
    • Lights around the base may flicker on and off, leaving pawns with uneasy feelings

There is not any real need to fix that, i have no idea how chances are calculated but it provides about 1/5 of nutrition for malnutrition diet, only usefull if playing with no cannibalism or if something like zombieland prevents raiders from getting near and most people will not be playing tribal naked brutality 0.01 research speed

just want to say rats are amazing on sea ice, i made a room with filtf and freezeng temps that generates meat

@Scurvyez I actually tried reproducing it in devmode yesterday for more than an hour, and failed. Giving up, I re-enabled the mod in my main playlist - and only on this evening the errors reappeared; after 40 ingame days. Rather surprising, since first time it started happening almost immediately
