Namely to add 600mm track and an option to remove preset wagons. I like the fact it comes with them, but in some cases I'd like to place my own wagons

The TPF2's game map is 1:4 scale.
How big a train station would a farm have in the real world?
If you want to park a 20-cars freight train in a farm...you can just connect a new cargo train station next to the MOD using path adsorption.. My MOD is more suitable for players who pursue real simulation scenery, and integrates the transportation function of the game's own industries. If you are not satisfied, you can use the default farm in the game.

I will update the MOD when I take a vacation next mounth.
Roads won't let connect to any other road than small country road, and also rail station should have two track minimal option with high track possibilities also.
