If you make a torpedo turret, you will need a library like the one I made to facilitate registering callbacks (which spawn the torpedos). If you don't have one, nothing will spawn.
I made a mod which is my own version of this turret by copy-pasting this turret files and rebalancing the values, yesterday mod was working fine but today i can't see the torpedoes being fired even if i see the damage being applied.
How do i fix it?
I tried the turret from this mod and it feels a bit underpowered, i understand damage needs to be lwoer since you are firing actual torpedoes but i think it has been lowered a tad to much. If a general damage buff is not something you want to go for since it would make it too strong, how about increasing the damage dealt to hulls even more? That wahy the turret will still be bad against shields but it will be a competitive option agains hulls, because right now the only use i could think of for this turret in my game is to saturate the area with targets for enemy PD turrets to give my fighters more survivability.
Yes, torpedoes fired by this turrets are targeted by PD weapons, killing turret DPS even more.
