Burst fire torpedo turret that deals excellent hull damage, but poor shield damage

Begins to spawn around early-mid naonite regions

Sorry for not responding sooner, uni / work is sapping a lot of my free time. I'll probably be revisiting some of my old mods to fix things / make a new mod or two.

If you make a torpedo turret, you will need a library like the one I made to facilitate registering callbacks (which spawn the torpedos). If you don't have one, nothing will spawn.

Plaing on my world opened to multiplayer for friends only, playing with a friend, he also doesn't see torpedoes

I made a mod which is my own version of this turret by copy-pasting this turret files and rebalancing the values, yesterday mod was working fine but today i can't see the torpedoes being fired even if i see the damage being applied.
How do i fix it?

I tried the turret from this mod and it feels a bit underpowered, i understand damage needs to be lwoer since you are firing actual torpedoes but i think it has been lowered a tad to much. If a general damage buff is not something you want to go for since it would make it too strong, how about increasing the damage dealt to hulls even more? That wahy the turret will still be bad against shields but it will be a competitive option agains hulls, because right now the only use i could think of for this turret in my game is to saturate the area with targets for enemy PD turrets to give my fighters more survivability.
Yes, torpedoes fired by this turrets are targeted by PD weapons, killing turret DPS even more.

A little update, I finished a new mod which will allow modders to keep players from building their modded turrets in turret factories. I'll used this mod to fix the issue brought up by KnifeHeart, but I haven't uploaded it nor the patch just yet. Should get it out sometime tomorrow.

It's possible to make it so that you can't build fighters with a specific turret type. If you're interested in seeing exactly how this is done - check out the Spreadfire / Helix cannon scripts that I added. I made it so that players could not build fighters of those types due to the massive # of projectiles.
