Over a century ago, the Metalburguese Navy used their Blue Cors-Air boatplanes for long distance mercenary work, sailing all the way to their targets before taking off. In one such mission, a castle was to be bombed, but when the Cor-Airs approached, they were met with a never-before-seen invention: biplanes. The agile machines shot the flying boats down. The Bureau was then tasked with engineering their own biplane to protect the Cors-Air bombers, but every proposed design lacked the needed range. It kept the engineers awake for many nights until one of them, the sleepy Reimar Dunne, dreamed of a tailess plane with wings like ship sails, floating draglessly to its far-away destination like a kite. He woke up and started working on what would be the start of Metalburg's flying wing plane tradition: the Mb-00 Dunne.
