Bang's Convict Transport (Prisoner Transport 2.0)

Description
This submarine was not made by me but I have fixed it so most things on the submarine actually work now. I have also made balance changes so prisoners will have a harder time to escape this submarine. I will remove my version from the workshop if asked by the creator. I am only uploading this because my local creations on my machine seem to corrupt and disappear. Nvm just found out I had the option to upload without this appearing on the workshop publicly so this was a straight up lie. Sorry. Anyway the stuff I improved/fixed are:

- Prisoner Oxygen generators - They can now be turned off but the buttons for the off switch does not always work and it takes a long time before the prisoner starts to realise they are running out of oxygen

- Item Balance changes - Prisoners have less over powered items and most of the over powered items are in their recreational area. The non prisoner crew now has more access to items which will help them repair the sub and keep the prisoners in check.

- Security - I have added better options to take down a prisoner without lethal force. Rubber rounds have been added and lethal items have been reduced but now the captain has access to a flamer.. So I guess.. Try not to get on the captains bad side. Security area written signs have been changed.

- Double doors for the prison cells. Prisoners will have a harder time trying to break out and this helps with the oxygen generators for the cells

- Pumps inside the prison cells are on by default when the game is started but do not worry this does not mean they are automatically set to drown the prisoners. By on I mean they have power coming into them so if water does appear in their cells it will remove it but the security has the option to fill their cells with water with just a simple press of a button. Drowning prisoners should only be done if the prisoners have become too dangerous. They can be drowned and handcuffed so they can be revived. I changed the description of the pump sign as well.

- Electrical Discharge Coils have been made safer for the crew and security. In the original version they would sometimes accidentally shock the security and the prisoners but now they are only harmful to the prisoners.. Unless the security is located where the coils are. One Electric discharge coil is located in the prisoner area and can be triggered with a press of a button just in case prisoners are trying to break through the exit hatch or if they are starting a riot. The second Electric discharge coil is located in the rehabilitation area. The second coil has its range reduced so it now does not shock the security and the crew. To use it simply pull the lever to rehabilitate the escapee/prisoner. but of course shove them into the rehabilitation chamber first. You also have the option to fill the chamber with water untill they almost drown. This will teach them to obey.

- items - There are less items like medical items and so medics should pay attention to how much medical items they have left.

- Haunted ballast. I have said enough.

- Ballast pests... Beware.

- The shuttle has now been improved so now you can enter it without needing to play needle in a hay stack because of the stupid airlock hit-box. Button has been moved down to be easily accessible so crew can get inside with little to no problems. Beware the water that will come out of the shuttle ballast. Shuttle is located above command room. Bag with items was moved so the other button can be more easily pressed.

- Submarine - Submarine durability and speed has been improved. Sub will travel slightly faster and the mechanical and electrical equipment will break slower. And there are fixafoam grenades plus special fix wrenches everywhere around the submarine. Trust me. They will run out.

update:

- Added security door to the submarine turret control room. Photos of submarine won't show it because I haven't updated the photos.

- Made turrets more reliable by increasing their angle of range so aiming is easier and now possible in different angles.

I believe this is pretty much it.. I may have missed something though.

Note - I may add one more turret to the submarine or even just improve the weapons if I have the time later.

Also I posted this because I want players to have a better more balanced experience. Actually the normal crew has a lot of op stuff for repair. Still prisoners have an ability here to escape still.

Original description:


This convict transport ship was the first prison ship of it's kind manufactured during the early days of Europa's colonization. The lawless nature of the initial colonies, combined with the harsh environment and scarce resources created many of the sectors most heinous criminals. With crimes ranging from theft, arson, to just plain old murder, a secure vessel was needed to ensure these men end up in prison, where they belong.

Built by a shady Jupiter based engineering firm, led by an eccentric man known only as "Bangjangles", this ship was never formally given a name, and was put into service almost immediately. While other more reliable and secure convict transport vessels were eventually available in the coming decades, Bang's horrible legacy has continued to live on with this ship as a personal hell for those who choose to break the law even long after the creators rumored death, and the disbanding of the company that birthed it.



This horrible ship comes equipped with an escape shuttle, as well as a toggleable backup battery array for the ships systems. The med-bay comes equipped with a life support system that, if activated, will keep the inhabitants dry and breathing as long as power lasts.

The command room contains an armory with an assortment of behavior correction devices. Access to command is restricted to security and command personnel, however.

The prison comes equipped with four prison cells with a capacity of 2 prisoners per cell, or 3 if you're a terrible person. Also included is a special Control Coil that allows you to calm any unruly convicts. If they're unable to be calmed with the coil, an additional "Solitary Rehabilitation" chamber is included where prisoners can be subjected to intense therapy for their own good.

Hey if you have time and if you want could you make a remake of the convict mining station or could you make your own ( or reccomend me another one)? I host prison rp and i tried out your creation as well as the original but after a while the players get bored and some say its impossible to escape on this ship so i would be very hapy if i had another ship/station to host on, i tried many other ships but they are mostly remakes of the other ones.

updated the gun room with a security door because I saw a traitor engineer blow up a shuttle with the rail gun. They were very dead after that. Also I updated the guns now so they have more angle control

I am trying to get the sub turrets to be more reliable at the moment but it could cause more issues if someone gets on the guns who is not trust worthy. With the updated guns they can shoot the sub. I have not released this version with the updated turrets. At the moment this version I posted has the original turret range and direction. Can't shoot oneself here.

It works too! I have a campaign saved in multiplayer and at the moment I am trying to beat the game with random players joining. So when prisoners join it does become a bit harder but I noticed security can cause a huge ton of problems if they are traitors

The crazy prisoner cells are locked by default when the game is started. other prisoner cells are open because they are less dangerous
