November 2022 changes (game update 2022-11-16)
- fixed id limited to Int32 - can't install mods uploaded since around July 2020
- fixed message appearing on exit: "this program may not have installed properly"
- resizable window
- showing full description
- items sorted by title by default

same behavior as the custom installer:
- game directory name can be changed
- relative paths in file list
- checking file list presence for install state instead of workshop.dat
- conflict detection:
notifies about conflicting files and prevents uninstalling in wrong order
- skipping .bak and some other files
- music backups are moved to other folder to prevent playback stop
- properly installing and restoring java/class mods:
creates empty class files for java files if not included,
disables java files if only class files included

It was worth a try - guess we'll just stick to what we have now, but I am glad you considered.

Although nice to have GUI is probably too much effort to put in.
To make things easier, getting the selection from a file (like item names) seems to be better either way.

Yeah - the Custom Workshop Installer is by far the best, but it's not really optimal always writing down numbers - wouldn't it be possible to make a GUI version of such a thing where it's possible to select multiple items by just holding left control and left clicking on them; (which then would automatically sort it in order)

For example I select GameLogic and after it I select 939.exe and it sorts it automatically so when I press install it installs Gamelogic first and then 939.exe - You get the idea.

It's just the latest version of the stock workshop installer.
I would still recommend the custom workshop installer, as it allows selecting multiple items, sorting by installdate, etc.

Will this be easier to install mods just by clicking on them instead of typing numbers in order like in the previous CWC?
