Description: The ninth and, for now, last creature: the Rainbird. These tropical birds and their absurdly bright colors live at the same point in time the Novasaurus does, meaning there has been an incomprehensibly long time for them to evolve since the present day. For all we know, they could be descendants of the Avians, which would be simultaneously amusing and impressive. For all we know, they could have done the dinosaur thing and evolved from lizards. They could have even done the Frog Dog thing! Who knows. If I could choose one Next Earth creature to bring into the present day, this would probably be it. I'd love to examine these creatures more, but for now I must return to the present. Perhaps I'll revisit the life of this new Earth once more some day.
