Nascent & Established TDHI Hammerhead Series

There's nothing really special here, just a couple of approachable, vanilla-compatible ships that should be easy to build in the starting solar system of a new game. Neither are exactly starter ships, but they should provide a solid foundation for an early mothership, & later a handy template for a series of fleet ships that are easy to customize.

In both designs, there's an emphasis on speed & ready expansion slots for specialized gear, with an armored explosion-resistant bow section (hammerhead) providing some protection for everything behind it. The most standout feature, if something like that can be claimed in Cosmoteer, is the robust & protected braking/reverse thrusters, which means that it's relatively difficult to disable these ships' ability to back away with the main firing arc on target & it's unlikely to bump into things at full speed.
