At the heart of the BLZ-93 Cricket is a powerful engine, strategically located at the rear of the vehicle. This engine boasts impressive output, propelling the IFV to remarkable speeds, making it an excellent choice for reconnaissance missions. The engine is supported by a generous 700-liter fuel tank, providing the vehicle with significant operational range. For extended missions, an optional 300-liter external fuel tank is available, which can be jettisoned when empty, further enhancing the vehicle's versatility and endurance.

The troop chamber of the BLZ-93 Cricket accommodates up to six infantry personnel comfortably. The troops exit from the sides of the vehicle, allowing for rapid dismounting and tactical positioning during engagements. Inside the chamber, the gunner seat is strategically placed to man the turret, which boasts an array of powerful weaponry. The turret is equipped with a light autocannon, offering rapid and precise fire against enemy infantry and light vehicles. To complement the autocannon, a coaxial machine gun is installed, providing suppressive fire during engagements. Additionally, the turret houses a missile launcher, further enhancing the vehicle's versatility by providing an anti-armor capability.

The light autocannon is equipped with a 100-round drum, which can be reloaded up to six times before requiring a return to base for a complete reload. An additional 600 rounds are stored in the hull to ensure sustained firepower during extended engagements. To aid accuracy and target acquisition, the turret is equipped with a laser rangefinder, which automatically adjusts the range for precise targeting. Two-plane stabilizers further enhance the accuracy of the turret's weapons, ensuring effective firepower even while on the move.

The BLZ-93 Cricket is well protected, with armor capable of withstanding heavy machine gun fire, including .50 caliber rounds. This level of protection allows the vehicle to confidently engage hostile threats while keeping its occupants safe.

The driver and commander occupy a separate chamber within the vehicle. The commander has access to the radio system, facilitating effective communication with other units and headquarters. Meanwhile, the skilled driver expertly maneuvers the BLZ-93 Cricket, leveraging the powerful engine and ensuring smooth operation even in challenging terrains.
