A20 - "Cleavage" MBT

The A20 is a MBT manufactured by Automil-TZ, created in 1993 for the needs of BRAF. The tank was put on a new universal tracked platform A20+, which is a development of the A-series UGP starting with A10.



Improved stabilizers of a new generation were developed, designed to stabilize the new ATZ-SMX125mm gun. The hull is protected by side armor jackets and thick armor, and AMZ-4/2 dynamic protection units and combined armor are installed on the turret. Inside the electronics there is an automatic rangefinder, a complex of the electronic-optical system "Zasvet", a PNV RG-3 and display sensors in the gunner's sight, created for convenience. The power plant is powered by a Matrisse-8a89 gas turbine engine manufactured by Autogas-SME. The MBT won the tender for the main tank of the army and entered service in 94. Next, he will receive an upgrade in the form of A25(A20M) from another concern privately, but he will not leave the front and will continue to serve for the needs of BrickRigs
