UFS Escapade 2412-01. The first of two near identical Destroyers created at Federation R&D for the purpose of testing larger warp cores, and a experimental safety/combat feature that would later be found on the Federations Charter 3410 Cruiser, the latest flagship of the fleet.

Designed specifically with the role of a Destroyer in mind. This type in particular uses saucer design from Dawn Type Frigate seen earlier in the Federations post-calamity restoration. Its flat surface provided a large amount of weapon hardpoints. The Rear of the saucer was reinforced to support a 3rd Nacelle which holds no Warp capabilities of its own, build just to increase speed and particle fuel collection. Testing as to if a 3rd nacelle affects warp stability has so far been inconclusive.

The Escapade does include a [functional] shuttle bay for use in Rescue or Retrieval operations, capable of holding up to 2 small combat shuttles, or a compliment of 5 worker Bees for repair. (Hangar size is 5).

Engineers assigned to all Mark-1 Escapade class vessels before being shipped out are to undergo mandatory training for the ships experimental use of Explosive bolts, and Hull clamps keeping the Saucer ajoined to the secondary hull. Its stated that the escapades “Prettier Sister” has the Ability to Seperate into two completely functional ships, but one has yet to be seen outside the designated testing sectors.

Massive Credit to Duty who made the Aesthetic and build type I followed while creating this. Original Saucer is from his UFS 010400 Dawn, restructured a little bit, and the Body is from his Workshop Sprues!
