Viracocha are the Union's hand that keeps hold of the Xenian-infested jungles of Latin America.

Deployed after the complete defeat of the local Proselyte regiments, the VIRACOCHA task force has proven to be successful and effective at not only preventing further spread of resistance influence, but also using their Guerilla tactics against them, resulting in a series of victories that helped stabilize the sector's political scene.

With South America still an area with very little Union presence, VIRAROCHA units, much like their RAT brothers from the east, have been readjusted for longer deployment times, albeit with the consideration of the hot and humid climate of the local jungles.

Despite their relatively low cost (compared to other long-deployment units), this company is yet to fail hard enough for anyone to consider replacing them. To this very day, they remain the most feared predator of their jungle.
