The Time Turner

Description
You wake up from your hibernation with the smell of burnt toast. Is there something wrong with the ship?
It's your job to go and fix The Time Turner before any weird quantum-time-alteration occurs, whatever that means...
Presented at the Build-a-room 4 competition.

This was my first map, and boy, what a ride it has been! At first I wanted to keep it as simple as I could: No LUA scripting, no custom models and textures or sounds, etc. But I ended up using some audios and textures to give the map some flavor as well as for my mental health's sake. I have learnt a lot through the way, and hope to get some more maps done with more time and experience. Enjoy!
The "secret route" is some additional content that got cut out from the official map, but couldn't bring myself to delete it after hours of work. It will remain as a little easter egg for winners to enjoy while the others get to the end of the map!

I got to the western room and couldn't progress. I checked the video walkthrough and the only thing that I was missing seemed to be the tray, but the slot for the tray key seemed to have been disabled (possibly because I set it down earlier and then picked it up again). In the end I had to quit the room.

Fun room - I went left initially, going to try the right path now. Is the ending a KoL reference by any chance?

Is it really true that once you pick left or right with the first handle that there is no way to ever get back to the other side?

Aha knowing where to put the green elephant was very sneaky. I did get confused in picking up the key from the painting, it only let me pick it up when I got right up on it. I tried to pick it up when entering the room and couldn't so I thought I had to trigger something to get it. Nice map!

Great job! I picked the right side and got a little lost in the dark for a while, but overall I really enjoyed playing it :) Good luck in the competition!
