Description

Overview
The AGM-17B2 is the successor to the AGM-16. Built upon the same concept, the AGM-17 provides unparalleled long-range precision strike capabilities. The missile is equipped with a radio data link which can provide real time intelligence updates up to 20 kilometers away ensuring the ability to adapt to evolving battlefields. The advanced flight computer is capable of storing target coordinates if data link is lost, allowing it to autonomously navigate to the last known position of the target. The AGM-17 is also equipped with a terminal active radar homing stage to allow extreme accuracy during the terminal stage of the flight path.

Specifications
  • EHCS compatibility
  • Mach 1.3 cruise speed
  • 17x3x3 blocks
  • No minimum range
  • Ground-ground or air-ground
  • Advanced flight systems

Operation
If you want the simplest operation, slap it onto a plane that's EHCS compatible. Otherwise, keep reading.

Setup
There are a couple invisible microcontrollers that allow for customization to suit your needs. On the front left, selected Yes or No for Air Launch (yes if firing from a plane, no if from the ground/sea). On top select attack mode, there is Sea Skimming and Normal. Sea skimming will make the missile fly just above the ocean to avoid radar detection. Normal will make the missile fly high in the sky and use a top-down style attack on it's target. Finally, there is an option called Ignore min range, loop around. This option will decide if the missile will initially miss close targets and loop around, ensuring a kill. Turning this off will decrease engagement times, but may lead to a miss.

Basic Operation
For simple operations, just input XY coordinates using a keypad with channel 1 being X, and channel 2 being Y.

Data Link Operation
To use the data link properly, you must first have a radar to XYZ that can transmit the information to the missile. I recommend your coordinates to be pre-filtered, the missile has an onboard filter but it can only do so much to reduce noise. The missile will not follow data link targets if the channel is set to 0, this is to prevent easy jamming if you forget to change it (I recommend making the frequency something ridiculous like 853282317). To set the frequency, run a number into channel 5 on the hardpoint composite. This channel cannot be changed mid flight.

Feel free to use this on any creation, all I ask for is a link to this page.

can you make a example video on how to set the coords

im trying to do the Dataling thing, but for some reason its just heading to X-0/Y-0, i converted the radar data to GPS, the Frequencys should be set up corectly and i made shure that the radio is transmitting. im a bit frustrated and i dont know what to do

Working fine for me, except some minor touch ups

Nvm, got it to work sometimes, but most of the time it just doesn't want to take in a new data via radio, i'm using huge btw

nvm, just actually tested it, it does work it just didn't show it in the tooltip of the guidance

i'm trying to get the link from radio to work, both radio are at the right frequency, your controller even shows it's getting the right radio coordinates, but it's not transmitting them to the targetting system ?, the target x and y is still the same as when i launched it

I can't figure out how to attach it to any planes.
