Amphibious Rescue Fuel Tender

Ever been doing missions on your boat when you needed to do things on land?

Need to refuel a boat when the source is on land?

This size managed design can get rescues, fuel, equipment and parcels from ship to shore to town!

Combining the rescue capabilities of the BBW “Man” series of land vehicles with electric propulsion and fuel handling of the Gecko. Carry on your ship an Shoreman to have a land-sea combo to deliver rescues inland, conduct inshore rescues and collect fuel to bring back to the boat.

Speedy RHIBs get stopped at the beach. With your ship close to the beach the water portion is a short distance compared to how far there is to go on land. Shoreman can also collect a load of fuel to resupply the mothership.

It is battery powered with enough range to travel between towns and back. Though full range hasn’t yet been tested it can go from the North Sawyer Dock to Holt Town and back with a great deal to spare. Recharging connection is on the stern. The mother-ship normally has its own generators for this.

Handhelds include fire extinguisher, welder, defibrillator, rope, first aid kits, flashlight, flares, compass, radio and a convenient small empty near the pilot to recharge or store. All spots are electrically connected.

Seats up to seven passengers with Stormlink ready seats. Sufficient for most rescue situations.

Tank usage:

There are two uses of tanks in the Shoreman.

Fuel tanks, typically for diesel fetching, are medium tanks running along the central belly. If you wish to change the fuel type these are the ones to use. Fill level defaults at zero assuming that you would need to fetch fuel from a station.

If you make a local save you can change the fuel tank types and optionally have them start filled to immediately bring a load to a vessel.

I believe you can pump any fluid in them so be sure to fully offload to avoid mixing fuel types.

Buoyancy tanks are set to empty to add to the vehicle’s buoyancy and should never have liquid in. “Slurry” fluid type has been selected to indicate them. Fill Level should remain zero.
