Factions:

What became of the Human Alliance, they became a powerful force in the galaxy are are expanding their territory. The competitive nature of their military has lead to many infighting and power struggles between internal factions however.

An emerging alien civilization, the Vyn are a cruel race of floating orbs who see other species as below them. Despite their supremacist ideology they see the Hegemony as a worthy and equal rival.

An alien race of sentient crystals who have entered the gmod galaxy looking for a way to heal the greatest member of their species. A long time ago there was an ancient civil war between themselves and the remains of the defeated Azulites ended up in the gmod galaxy and became exo crystals.

A mass of flesh and robotics fighting a war it's already won. It has existed for as long as the exo crystals first arrived to the gmod galaxy and became a sort of grey-goo crisis. The Far Crusaders sacrificed themselves to this mass to control it and use it against the remnants of the Veldonian Empire and it's behavior has been erratic ever since, constantly fighting itself ever since it destroyed the last of the Veldonians and anyone else who comes across it.

All of these factions will fight each other, four-way battles are possible.
