Description
Update 9/3/2023: New cockpit courtesy of Deco Pack #3! I think this dramatically improves its appearance.

My unofficial update to the IMDC M-5 Ocelot by JD Horx. All rights belong to him.

The M-6 Ocelot is, like its predecessors the M-5 and M-4, a light scout vehicle. Although only lightly armed and armored, it is fast and nimble, able to rapidly scout targets and then evade at high speed. Due to the development of newer weaponry, a decision was made to upgrade these useful craft. Based on the chassis of the M-5, the M-6 replaces the Gatling turret of the M-5 with a more powerful autocannon turret. The tires were also upgraded to offroad models for improved traction, and the suspension was tuned for maximum driving performance. Heavy armor skidplates were installed on the bottom. Lastly, the paintjob was updated to current IMDC standards.

Specifications:
1x Autocannon Turret
2x Small Warfare Reactors
2x Gyroscopes

Out-of-character:

It was requested, so it was done. There's only so much I could do with such a small design. I wish I could have done a hydrogen engine conversion like I did with the Puma and Rhino, but there wasn't enough room; the wheelbase is just too short. This is a very old design, one of the first rovers JD Horx ever designed, and a product of the early game. I tried to spruce it up as best I could, and I think the new cockpit really makes it. As always I did my trademark heavy armor panel skidplates on the underside, which makes it far less likely to destroy critical equipment if you hit something.

Words of warning: If driving onto or off of an Atlas, bump the wheel suspension strength up to 20% and take it VERY slow or you will break something. This rover drives much better when the cargo containers are well loaded. Also, there is no onboard oxygen generator as there simply is not enough room. Air vents have been installed on the underside set to depressurize, which will pull in and concentrate oxygen from the atmosphere, but using the Ocelot on moons in Survival is not recommended. It should be fine on Alien planets, though. The ship has a single small battery set to Recharge only. This is ONLY to be used to get the conveyor system back up and running so you can put more uranium in it.

FINAL WARNING: Future updates will require Deco Pack #3. It improves so much that it's necessary.

Minor tweak. Slightly reprofiled the turret mount to make it look a little nicer.
