World War 1870 Configuration Pack

In this alternate timeline, Abraham Lincoln loses the elections of 1860 and 1864, but is victorious in 1868. The Confederate States of America subsequently secedes, but takes Fort Sumter with them, and for two years, there is tension, but no war between the two. In 1869, the United States forms a secret defensive alliance with Russia and the Confederate States forms its own alliance with Britain and France. In 1870, following a skirmish on the Confederate-American border, the US declares war on the Confederacy. In turn, Britain and France declare war on the US and Russia declares war on Britain and France. Later, the Franco-Prussian War begins, though in this timeline, Austria-Hungary attempts to avenge its defeat in 1866 and joins the war against the North German Confederation. In 1871, after the formation of the German Empire and Italy's intervention via an invasion of the Austrian Littoral, Bavaria, Wurttemberg, Baden, and Hesse form an alliance, the South German Confederation, and declare war. The Great War has begun.
