Admiral Serebryakov class freagte - Project 23890

The frigate of project 23800 "Admiral Serebryakov" is the head ship of this series and is attributed to the Black Sea Fleet. Launched in 2016, it is a first-rate warship.

In 2017, the frigate, in association with "Admiral Grigorovich", took part in combat activities. While patrolling the Mediterranean, the ships launched 3M14 "Kalibr" missiles at "Islamic State" facilities in the towns of Ar Raqqah and Meyadim in the Syrian Arab Republic.

In 2019, "Admiral Serebriakov" faced an attack by a pirate group in the waters of Somalia. After being hit by a rocket-propelled grenade, the frigate resisted the threat, destroying two boats with the help of the "Palma" CIWS and capturing a third boat among the attackers.

In 2022, the ship was rushed back to the Black Sea.
