Description
"Buzzsaw Bee" Targeting MANPADS

The "Buzzsaw Bee" is direct upgrade to the "Firefly" man-portable air defence system. This missile platform is capable of taking down many different kinds of air targets. Helicopters and slow flying planes are especially vulnerable. The launch platform can be held 'E' and 'Q' with the handles between the sides of the launcher. The launcher contains a remote control, letting the user confirm their target, track it, and launch the missile successfully without needing to hit a clunky button attached the platform itself. The missile rapidly accelerates, capable of targeting and hitting aircraft effectively within 1500m.

The Buzzsaw Bee can be reloaded. The gold band on the missile matches up with the gold band on the platform. Align them both, and the missile will snap on to the platform ready to be launched.

Information:

  • Range of ~1500m
  • Light enough to be carried
  • Small explosive warhead
  • Radar targeting gives data on object
  • Audio cue when ready to fire
  • Radar guided

How To Use:

  1. Equip the attached remote control and set it to whatever frequency you like. Be sure to use the keypad on the platform to match what you choose!
  2. Place your player between the micro-controller wall on the left and the missile on the right, holding both handles.
  3. Aim the platform by moving left and right, up and down.
  4. When ready to target, equip and activate the remote control and press '1' to enable targeting systems.
  5. For best results when launching the missile, put the target's radar signature in the circle on the display. The buzzer will sound when a target is found.
  6. When ready to fire, hold 'S' while the remote control is active. It is like this so you do not misfire while reloading.

The fourth picture in this post's images is what your screen should look like while properly using the Buzzsaw Bee, just before you fire!
