You should put it there after you extract using GCFScape. (Make sure you have backup files)
And about that crash, I recommend you to set your graphics to low, run in window on lower resolution, and wait for few minutes after typing "snd_rebuildaudiocache" on console.
which folder u refer? the addon folder or something?
I'd recommend you to extract it using GCFScape, put it on sound folder, and type "snd_rebuildaudiocache" in console.
