I love your missions, but they need more autosaves. Your missions have those triggered events that just massacre all your units. This wouldn't really bother me except for the fact that I forget to save games and once I've lost units I can't replace I want to reload and I can't. If the last reload is more than 30 minutes ago I am simply not going to play the mission and that's the end of the play session for me. I'll come back and try again, but I've probably lost about 3 to 4 hours of my life forgetting to save games, losing my unit sand then getting off the game to come try again later.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot: Besides the parts of your maps that are unavoidable death sentences once triggered, I really enjoy your maps. Even the ambushes are usually fun as long as they are solvable. Your maps usually require proper team composition, management and remaining alert instead of zerging and all that over a longer period of time. They don't need "Haha, gotcha!" moments on top of that ;)

The trap hive that causes the informant to be overrun when the Hoppers are triggered at a bad time is a bit meh... maybe add some kind of warning that venturing too far in its direction may be bad? Such traps only fuel the practice of savegame scumming and always thinking "Oh well, maybe if I move here I will trigger a non-telegraphed unsolvable deathtrap that forces me to reload and avoid going there at all. Fun. Not."

I don't play Souls games for a reason: I like solving puzzles presented to me and not be presented with puzzles that are unsolvable without loading savegames and avoiding them.

This plays better than City Fight, since ranged death squads do not spawn out of thin air.

Overall "Like"!

However: I don't like not being able to see bug tunnel population, with the way they are spread apart that turns clearing hives into guesswork. Such guesswork is RNG and not a challenge, it adds nothing positive to the map.

Not being able to see Plasma Grenadiers's hitpoint bars in the fog is highly annoying, especially combined with not being able to set target priority for them.

@nhorack the infinite wave starts when you rescue the major. you can clear out the map beforhand if you want. makes it easier^^

Haha, i hate you with the sudden wave of bugs but it is an element of gameplay very interessing. i like your collection of map. It is Hard but not impossible.
May be i have some luck when i reach the major; one of the bug with the infinite wave after trapped itself in a corner.
Question, there is a limite with the waves ? if you have a permanent stab in the back when you reach the evacuation. It'll be a bit crazy no ? ^^

Very very challenging map. Not for the faint of hearted or the inexperienced.
Advice to anyone, clear out the rest of the city of bug holes and plasma bugs before heading to the last group in the North East.

One tweak would be good would be a little reward for completing the secondary objectives, say one point of war support and/ or 3 points of supplies. Plus being able to see the countdown bar on some of the bug holes would be better.

Keep up the good work though.

@tonyxfg i added it in that you get the dropships back after you make contact with the major. and i made it that you cannot see how many bugs are in the tunnels deliberately . you can still see it if you check the hives. i made it as an experiment to see how people like it. ill wait another day for feedback and then decide if i turn it back on.

Wow, that is a excited mission!

when I lost my base, I was scared about mission, fortunately mission still goon.
and then I take my base back(but dropship still only 1 :( )

although clear hive is secondly mission object, but it is a trap , if not clear all hive, then the retreat way will be very hard.


Oh, there is a small bug, I can not see how many bugs in bug tunnel, please fix it.
