Custom Recoil (VScript Mutator)

Description
Mutator/VScript that gives each firearm different recoil. Includes a server friendly version which fixes stutters that clients will otherwise have (uses sv_custom_recoil_behaviour 2).

Commands:
  • sv_custom_recoil_enabled 0/1
  • sv_custom_recoil_behaviour 0-2
    0 - default behaviour
    1 - no recentering
    2 - fully recentering (recommended for servers)
  • sv_custom_recoil_kick_multiplier
  • sv_custom_recoil_punch_horizontal_multiplier
  • sv_custom_recoil_punch_vertical_multiplier

I checked and I don't think its possible to do that, there is no vscript methods for setting fire mode or even making a player fire his weapon

Hi! Sorry for the question. Is it possible for you to make a mod to make the FN FAL fully automatic, with a specific rate of fire?

I like this mod, its actually making player feel like ordinary citizen before infection outbreak and not some spec ops member who can handle with every weapon

Done. You can now use sv_custom_recoil_behaviour 1 to have no recentering, I also added a version of the mutator that sets that command as the default. Enjoy!

Hey, I like your suggestion. Just to let you know I'll push an update with this tomorrow, didn't manage to finish it today cuz this requires me to rewrite some stuff

Love the mutator. I would like to see an option / another file that disables the auto recenter. Just something I dislike with recoil in games. Thanks.

This is honestly a really good mod I feel like this is how the recoil should be in the actual game
