Lopi's Co-op Portals

Description
Warning: the mod uses old steam networking which can expose your ip to poeple your friends. So don't play with strangers.
Allows you to send cards to your friends!
To do that both you and your friend need to:
- Be subscribed to this mod;
- Be friends on steam;
- Be in the game playing (not just in the main menu).

Then one of you makes a Co-op Portal card (3 stone + 1 Flint), links it to the friend, and just drops cards onto the portal.

Portal works both ways so you both can exchange cards.
Also, you can drop the portal onto a card to send it. And yes, it works on hostile creatures too.

If the portal is gray - it's not activated. That means the other person isn't in the game or hasn't opened up a save yet.

Dimensional Slits
When a friend opens up a portal to you a dimensional slit will spawn on your board.
It's an unstable gateway. You can't move it and it'll disappear once your friend logs off.
Craft a portal and link it to the friend to establish a stronger link.

Blocking Dimensional Slits
If your friend opens a portal to you without your consent you can just disable dimensional slits.
To do that go to the main menu -> Mods -> Co-op Portals -> and set "allow slits" to off.
This way your friend would be able to send you cards only if you made and linked a portal to them.

speaking of the dlc and the rift existing there, some interesting situations happen where you can send monsters there and they end up being cards you can sell for like 200 dollars a pop. its wild.

from what i remember, if the card can't be created on their end because they don't have a dlc or a mod it just sends it back

hay i got a question i am using the 2000 stack lands dlc and have a dimetional rift but cant send stuff through it to my friend

no problem! it was really weird because when i first tried it with my partner it didnt work then i was like "i'll try it with a friend and see if this option does anything." low and behold it started to function due to enabling the setting. glad i could catch that for you

it's not, with the setting off you should be able to exchange stuff through the portals you've built. The setting is inteded to prevent harrasment.

nevermind i found out the problem on why it didnt work, you need the dimensional slits setting on regardless of both people making the portals. i dont know if thats intentional

stracklands doesn't relaly get updates no more so yes, it should be working on the last version
