Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds (3.9.2)

Description
05/19/25 -
Hello everyone!

An update in coming, life's been a little crazy recently so it'll take me some time. Stellaris redid how portraits work in the game. Therefore I'll updated as soon as I can. Thank you for your understanding. - Mr_Daniels.

Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds

Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds is a species expansion for Stellaris that adds 90 new ANIMATED portraits for new alien species you can encounter in your galaxy. Increasing the variety of Xeno's you can encounter and making the galaxy a more diverse and interesting place. Made with Artbreeder AI Image Generator to make a variety of aliens that are truly bizzare and interesting. Species of Stellaris is not required to run Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds at this time, as it is only a standalone expansion.

Content of Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds
• 90 new unique ANIMATED alien portraits.
• 5 phenotype variations for each new Xeno (except portrait 17 and portrait 35, both have 3)
• New "Distant Worlds" Species to encompass the new alien species portraits added.

Version History:
Version 1.4.1
• Updated Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds to newest patch Caelum 3.9.2

Version 1.4
• Updated Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds to newest patch Caelum 3.9.1

Version 1.3
• Portrait 56 has been replaced with an new and improved portrait.
• 10 New Xeno portraits have been added as well. Each with 5 phenotype variations as well.

Please see change notes for changes included in previous versions.

Requirements:
This mod requires the following expansions in order to work correctly:

• Anniversary Portraits
• Synthetic Dawn
• Humanoids Species Pack
• Plantoids Species Pack
• Lithoids Species Pack
• Necroids Species Pack
• Aquatics Species Pack
• Toxoids Species Pack

The new portraits use sound files from these expansions, therefore several new portraits may be silent if the expansion needed is not downloaded.

Compatibility:
This mod should be compitable with everything, as it only adds a new "species" to Stellaris. While not required, it is highly recommended to use this mod in conjuncion with my other mod - Species of Stellaris.

Future:
My future plans are to integrate Species of Stellaris and Species of Stellaris - Distant Worlds together and add even more Xenos. I also will eventually categorize these new alien portraits with their respective species so they are correctly placed with like-species.

Credits:
• Gimp - GNU Image Manipulation Program - Thanks to this amazing free image editing software for helping these portraits come to life in Stellaris and being an overall amazing tool.
• Artbreeder AI Image Generator - This project would not of been possible without this art generating website. It truly is amazing what AI and Machine Learning is able to do for projects such as these. So a big thanks to them!

would be the perfect portrait mod if you separated each of them into their respective species. Kinda ruins it when they're "distant worlds" rather than an Anthropod lol
