Containee People

back from my brief hiatus, bringing with me a glorified teaser for what's to come
This is the Containee People (basically a Prisoner People #2)


Containees were the result of a project made by the US goverment, called "Project Opus", Whenever it would malfunction, it would spit out people from different planes of time, and places.
The US goverment did not know what to do with these people, So they referred to them as "Containees", and put them in unique codenames. Putting them in jumpsuits and threw them into cells, trying to figure out what they were going to do with them.
Some could be intergrated into society, since they still retained a bit a humanity, while some, were far beyond the name "Human".

Until one day, they contacted the United States Researchers Guild, proposing to hold these containees in a specialized room. The two workers over the phone were seemingly filled with glee, as they accepted it, the Goverment not knowing they were having ulterior motives.

They transferred the first Six into their base, giving them instructions on how to treat them, like a prison ward.
An accident happened three months later, causing the USRG to leave the residence they were staying at, moving to a new base provided by the US Goverment, to stay in for a few months until they fully moved to a custom-made base, suited for them to work on Project Opus.

Project Opus later spat out more containees, as they got locked up in the new base. The new base had what was called a "Containee Disposal Pit" for dangerous containees to be discarded and threw down in, so they could later die.

It never went unnoticed, though. One person did not like how the staff in this specialized sector treated them. He saw the Warden and the workers treating them like feral animals. Disposing of them and giving them a rather cruel fate, by either blood loss, or getting their body completely crushed to dust.
He was too scared to act out, until one day, a opperunity presented itself. The warden was outside, standing on the edge of the pit, looking down. He had just disposed of a containee, codenamed #4. Taking a chance, he thrown on whatever he had for a good disguise, and apporached the warden from the back.

A stab could be heard echoing throughout the pit, as the Warden stared down at the knife piercing through his body.
The knife was pulled out, as he fell down into the shaft.

The same worker felt alive. He felt compelled to seek justice, by bringing to justice certain people that had a hand in this company. A not so good hand he noted. Whatever it was, he knew one thing. He wasn't scared. Not anymore. He was going to make them see what he saw.
