Hey bud, just wanted to plop this here to ask if you can leave a like on this mod? This mod is something I'll be using in my playthroughs from now on, so a like would be cool. Favorite if you want, I don't mind too much about those. :)

DESCRIPTION

The Walkie-Talkie is a pre-microelectronics Comms. Console and Orbital Trade Beacon. It requires only 5W of power, costs 40 steel and 1 component to make, and of course, can be placed indoors. Requires Electricity to be researched.

KNOWN ISSUES
The trade radius is a rough 3 cell area around the Walkie Talkie, but when highlighted or placing it still shows a normal Orbital Trade Beacon's trade radius, being around 7 cells.

Currently incompatible with RimBank

LOAD ORDER
Not really sure, but, I think you want to put this mod as close to core as you possibly can. Above Deep Storage and addons at the least.

Trade beacons have not been working as intended across the board for my saves. I have narrowed down my mod list to this mod, and without it, trade beacons now work. With this mod enabled, Trade Beacons of all types do not register ANY items whatsoever. Not silver, not materials, not food, items, weapons, nothing.

@mlie i also have the same problem removing walkie talkie made vanilla trade beacons work again, also this doesn't seem to work with map wide trade beacon it stays in the same radius.

@chitoseender Tested this and the vanilla trade-beacon works as normal. You may have a mod-conflict

I found that the vanilla trading beacon doesn't work after installing this mod.
After removing this mod, the trade beacon can be used normally.

i could try that but the only mods related to comms and trade beacon are map wide trade beacon and no quests until comms mod
