Sergeant Hartman was born into a military family in the small town of Texarkana, Texas. His father was a decorated veteran of world war II and his mother was a nurse who worked on the front lines during the conflict. From a young age, Hartman was inspired by the stories of his father's heroism and his mother's bravery. He joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after turning 18 and quickly rose through the ranks due to his strong sense of duty and discipline.

As a young man, Hartman was known for his strict adherence to rules and regulations, as well as his no-nonsense attitude. He was a well-respected leader among his peers and even those in higher ranks. He was often seen as an intimidating figure, but his loyalty to the Corps was unquestioned.

In 1968, Hartman was deployed to Vietnam where he served as a drill instructor at Parris Island. It was there that he made his name as a tough-as-nails leader, training hundreds of young Marines and preparing them for the realities of war. His no-nonsense approach and harsh discipline earned him the nickname 'Boot Camp', a moniker that would follow him for the rest of his career.

Throughout his military career, Hartman was awarded numerous medals and honors for his service. He retired from the Marines in 1986 and in 1991 went on to work as a private drill instructor for the Association of International Mercenaries. Better known today as AIM. His unfinished legacy lives on in the hearts of all those he trained and served with.

NOTE: This is a NEW standalone version of Boot Camp and will not conflict with the older version of him. This was done for players who have the old version of Boot Camp in their saved game. And would like to use the new version of Boot Camp with all his perks, ect. HOW? You subscribe to this mod and hire him just like you would for any other merc. Then you can fire/release old boot camp from your game. (new Boot Camp is now located under the elite tab).
