Description: 2,000,000,000 years from now.

This is the end. The real, true end. Two billion years from now, the only thing that will remain of the once-mighty Zemplix will be these sentient flagpoles. The last of a legend. The Three-legged Flongs.

Something with such a ridiculous appearance and name doesn't really deserve a description that epic. So we'll just describe the basics. The Three-legged Flongs are the real last species of Zemplix, although they're so different from their ancestors that you can't really classify them as Zemplix anymore. (Please ignore the Metallivore's description saying "Zemplix are Zemplix, no matter how evolved they are".) The Flongs might have three legs, but they still have four limbs, one of which used to be a leg but has since evolved into an arm-tail. The Three-legged Flongs are fairly common around their rocky home planet, due to nothing being able to eat them. This is caused by a combination of there not being any predatory species of far-future Zemplix to hunt and eat them, and the lack of any complex organic life on the planet, and therefore, nothing that could be capable of eating metal. Yet all stories must end someday, even if the story in question is two billion years (f)long. Eventually, there was only one Flong left, which almost seemed to be aware that it was alone. It wandered around for many months before it too died peacefully atop a sheer cliff. And just like that, the two-billion-year-long story of the Zemplix would finally come to an end once and for all. Flongs might bring to mind the Lampbacks from two billion years ago, with both of them being a light gray color, not having a mouth and having the last one of each species stare out at the top of a cliff. Although, while the Zemplix may be gone, their impact on the galaxy (the original one, the second one, and whatever others they might have ended up in over the very, very (f)long time they've existed) will last much, much longer...

Despite all these amazing beings that have appeared and disappeared over millions upon millions (upon millions) of years, one could say that the most incredible of all of them were still the original Zemplix.

Other Information: They're inspired by a random, tall metal pole that's in my backyard for whatever reason. Flongs were also originally going to be from the much, much more distant future. Think tens of billions, even hundreds of billions or even more. They were originally going to be one of the very last living things in the whole universe.
