History

Delta-7A, or simply known as "Jedi Starfighter", might just be one of the most recognizable craft utilized by the pre-Empire Galactic Republic. A sleek, streamline design, that would later influence Kuat's own Imperial-class Star Destroyer, these starfighters served well both the Jedi Order, and other non-force sensitive pilots of the Republic Navy. All that being said, the use of the A-model specifically was mostly during the pre-War era, because once the Clone Wars really kicked off, it was rather quickly phased out in favor of Delta-7B, which finally allowed it's users to carry a full astromech droid just in front of the cockpit. Despite this, some Jedi still retained their older models, and some of those were seen used as late as 19BBY, during the execution of Order 66. The use of Delta-7's during an Imperial Era remains undocumented.

Pros: high maneuverability, very compact size, cheaper than dirt.
Cons: simple armament, non-existent range, no pressurization. Jedi don't seem to care about those things.

Additional Notes:
  • Programmable blocks are turned off by default to improve performance. If you still desire to use them - access the terminal and toggle the group "Programmable Blocks" on.
  • While this is a really, really small replica, it is still fully functional: it is conveyored, it does have armament, and it can travel on it's own (not really far though). That said, I still had to sacrifice pressurization for obvious reasons, so make sure to take as many Oxygen Bottles as you can.
  • Also pardon for the lack of variants this time. I wasn't really able to find any other Delta-7A paint schemes, so we will roll with these 2 for now.
  • Also also, an even bigger pardon for lazy screenshots - I was in a rush, and the choice was to either make these screenshots, or not post anything at all.

SPECIAL THANKS:

As this fighter is being released, ARC-170 is receiving a big update, so make sure to check it out as well!
