This mod diversifies the medical aspects of PZ. From a 12Hour Viral Delay Pills, 2 Week Vaccine, all the way to a working cure! As always with our mods this won’t make things “easier”, just different. Experimental Meds as they are, these will have a host of side effects on the user over a period of time up to 6 months, at random times. These range from mild hunger and thirst through to chemical burns, and so should be used with extreme caution…

- ViraBlast – Experimental Cure – Immediate cure from the KX Virus
- ViraSheild – Experimental Vaccine - ~2 Weeks Protection (acts within an hour of infection)
- ViraBoost – Experimental Mid Delay - ~96 Hour Delay
- ViraChews – Experimental Short Delay Pills - ~12 Hour Delay
- ViraTest – Experimental Test Kit

(ViraShield Note – LIVE VACCINE – DO NOT TAKE IF ALREADY INFECTED! – The Vaccine is designed to protect non-infected survivors against bites for around 2 weeks. If taken, any infection received from a bite will be automatically cured within 1 in game hour. Tests taken during this hour will still show positive. Basically there is a short time delay from being bitten to the vaccine having it’s desired effect. If taken when already infected, it will ACCELERATE the effects of the KX Virus, resulting in quicker zombification!)

We have a very lightweight and customizable loot system that will add Special Meds to Certain Types of Z’s. You can control both the drop chance % and the amount of cures within the drops through the options!

You’ll find <S.C.A.R.S> Supply Crates in rare spots around KY. These can be broken apart to find a number of items from the list above!

After Effects – This will enable or disable the after effects of <S.C.A.R.S> Meds when using them. If this is enabled, you will experience after-effects from each med taken stacking up to 6 months. If Disabled, you’ll only experience the direct effect of the meds when taking them.

Enable Cures – This will enable or disable cures in both special Z loot drops and static spawns. If disabled, <S.C.A.R.S> Med Crates will not spawn either.

Enable Tests – This will enable or disable Test Kits in both special Z loot drops and static spawns.

Enable Fake Infections – This will enable or disable Fake Infections when using Test Kits at Medical Level 0. If disabled, Kits may still give incorrect results, but no Placebo Infections will happen.

Special Z Loot Drop Chance – This will control the % chance that Special Z’s will drop S.C.A.R.S Meds. We recommend 25% as standard on the new System but customize to your hearts content!

Experimental Cures Spawn Multiplier – This will control the level of Cure Spawns on the Special Z’s above and Static Spawns across the Map. We recommend option 1 – Rare, again customize to your hearts content though. Option 2 They will be more common, Option 3 put’s a large multiplier on the spawn rates and so be warned, you’ll find a lot of cures!

Q. Can I add to an existing save?
A. Yes, the Mod is self-contained and so perfectly safe to do so!

Q. Is this Compatible with other mods?
A. Yes, but we strongly advise against mixing with other medical/cures mods. This mod doesn’t touch or adjust any base game functions, however, the dynamic loot system works by identifying special Z’s. If you use any mods that overhaul Z outfits and their names, you may not receive the medical drops!

Q. I found a Bug!
A. Please Join Our Discord and let us know, most of the time we can fix things within 24hours!

Q. Is it B41 MP Compatible?
A. Yes, all our mods are built and tested on our live servers for B41!
