Keep in mind that you will need to unsubscribe to the following addon for this one to work.

Important note: I've reduced the file size of this model because I'm trying to save my fellow players unnecessarily large files. I take no credit for this; I edited this object for myself.

💁 VOCAL CHAT SUPPORT

All of the playermodels in this pack support GMod's vocal chat system. The mouth of your playermodel will move when you use your microphone in multiplayer only. Keep in mind it's entirely dependent on your microphone's quality AND volume. For obvious reasons, the ones with helmet/mask aren't supported.
💁 INFOS/QUESTIONS
«Why this pack?» Originally made and uploaded in 2019 in private for personal use and experimentations at first, it was uploaded publicly instead. Also, elves. «Why did you put "(experimental)" for arms, props and vocal chat?» Because it is. For the arms, they were not perfected so it's (for some) a crude work. For the vocal chat support, they do not use the full flexcontrollers, it's very basic. Same for the props. Basic. «Why didn't you made props for every playermodel?» They are only meant for a category. Mage prop represent the mages as a whole, etc. «Can I use it for my server?» Yes, of course. «Is it TTT compatible?» I didn't touch the hitboxes, so I don't think it's compatible. «Will it conflict with the addons you listed in the credits?» Not at all since they all have models and materials that were modified. Not the same directories. «Is it optimized? Does it use LOD?» Sadly, no. Maybe in the future I'll try to optimize the playermodels. «Can I reupload it?» Depends. Read "REGARDING REUPLOAD" below. «Do you take requests?» I'm afraid not. «What's so different about your playermodels and the originals?» A lot of modifications, like a full support of the Gmod Vocal Chat system for every playermodel in this pack. Some were heavily modified, some just a bit of rerigging. And many, many repairs. «Will you add more in the future?» Maybe.

BE WARNED:
These models still suffer from several problems, don't expect high quality.
There is no LOD, don't expect optimization either.
There is no proper faceposing nor fingerposing.
There is no proper ragdoll for posing.
There is no procedural bones work, except for the ones I tried to keep from the originals.
If you use them for anything else other than Gmod's base playermodel animations, you can and will experience a lot of troubles/glitches/horrible clipping/many unpleasant things.

What basic things can't you do with the player models? They're actually pretty good models. The point behind the redux is to free up more memory without a huge difference in the quality of the textures. Something like this is essential for servers, which overall care about a good download size for their user base. Thus, the users only download the most important things.

so if you can't do the most BASIC of things with this addon, then what is the point? what is so REDUX about?
