[EC] Custom Legendary Vampire Lord

Description
Main Contents

This mod add custom legendary lord in recruitment pool for player faction.
The lord is basically designed with reference to Blood Dragon/Knight of Vampire Count characters. However, he has access to many mount/weapon variations and unique skills for distinctive combat experiences.

해당 모드는 플레이어 팩션의 전설 군주 고용 풀에 커스텀 전설 군주를 하나 추가 합니다.
전설 군주는 기본적으로 뱀파이어 카운트의 블러드 드래곤/블러드 나이트 혈족 군주를 토대로 제작되었으며, 독특한 전투 방식을 위해서 다양한 탈것/무기 조합과 고유한 스킬을 다수 보유하고 있습니다.

Installation

Simply activate the mod and find him in legendary lord recruitment pool from the start.
Not like other [EC] custom unit mods, this mod doesn't require additional mod like [EC] custom building asset.

해당 모드를 활성화 하고, 게임 시작 시 전설 군주 모집 창에서 그를 찾으십시오.
다른 [EC] 커스텀 유닛 모드들과는 다르게 이 모드는 커스텀 빌딩 에셋 모드를 요구하지 않습니다.

Technically, it could be possible to recruit in other factions too but that is not intended and unexpected problems can be occurred, especially on character model and combat animations. It is possible to add more factions but it is somewhat complicated. More factions can be added later but currently I cannot promise.

기술적으로 다른 팩션에서도 그를 고용하는 것이 가능할 수 있습니다. 그러나 이는 의도하지 않은 점이고, 예상 외의 문제를 일으킬 수 있으며, 특히 캐릭터 모델과 전투 애니매이션이 망가질 수 있습니다. 더 많은 팩션이 사용하도록 추가할 수는 있으나 다소 복잡한 문제로 해당 작업은 아직 예정되있지 않습니다.

Motivation

I, personally, found and felt basic design of Blood Dragon bloodline lord is only good when he use dragon mount. The lord is basically a knight or warrior as original lore says but he was very inefficient with horse based mounts, nightmare and hellsteed, and every skills and performances were excellent with zombie dragon mount. Also, dual sword on horses or no direct fight animations on dragon mount was misbecome as I felt. Because of that, I wanted to make a lord who is showing good performances and fun animation with horse mounts or bare foot.

Also, I wanted to make a vampire character having complicated identity and lore as Ulrika and other Mankind friendly vampire characters did. The legendary lord of this mod will have complicated biography but I need to do some works for that. He lived as a mercenary commander before and after becoming a vampire. You can recruit him in various factions because of that. He fought as a supportive combatant in The Empire regiment, a trader guard for elven merchants, member of expedition force for bretonnia, etc.

해당 모드 제작의 첫번째 동기는 기본적인 블러드 드래곤 혈족 군주가 오직 드래곤 탈것을 사용할 때만 유용하다는 점을 느꼈기 때문입니다. 해당 혈족 군주는 기본적으로 배경에 따라서 기사 또는 전사이지만 말 탈것, 나이트 메어와 헬스티드를 사용할 때 비효율적임을 보였습니다. 또한 마상 쌍검과 드래곤 탈것 상태에서 직접 전투 애니매이션이 없는 점은 어울리지 않는 것으로 보였습니다. 때문에 보행 또는 기마 상태에서 좋은 성능과 재미있는 애니매이션을 보이는 군주를 만들고 싶었습니다.

또 다른 이유로, 울리카 또는 다른 인류에 우호적인 뱀파이어 캐릭터 같이 복잡한 정체성을 가진 뱀파이어 캐릭터를 만들고 싶었습니다. 추가 작업이 더욱 필요하지만, 이 모드의 전설 군주는 복잡한 인생사를 갖고 있습니다. 뱀파이어가 되기 전, 후를 망라해 용병대장으로써 살았으며, 지원부대 일원으로 제국의 부대에 속해 싸우거나, 엘프 교역단의 상단호위를 맡으며, 브레토니아를 구원할 원정군으로 참여하는 등 다양한 소속의 군대에서 싸워왔습니다. 때문에 여러분은 그를 다양한 팩션에서 고용할 수 있습니다.

Tactical Usage

He is basically designed to be defensive duelist, stopper purposed to suppress or kill dangerous threat like monstrous creature while you can avoid it by selecting proper mount/weapon. You can choose one stance from 5 types by weapon select and each have different merits or demerits. The lord has no army improvement skills but have various passives instead of that. You can also choose one skill tree from two for specialized command technique.

기본적으로 전설 군주는 수비적인 결투자, 억제자이며, 괴수 등 위협적인 상대를 억제하거나 제거하도록 제작됬지만, 적절하게 무기를 선택함으로써 다르게 플레이 할 수도 있습니다. 무기 선택을 통해 5개 중 1개의 태세를 고를 수 있으며 각자 장점과 단점이 있습니다. 이 군주는 기존의 군단을 강화하는 스킬트리를 갖고 있지 않지만 다수의 패시브 스킬을 갖습니다. 군단 강화 스킬 대신 지휘 기술을 심화하기 위해 두개의 스킬 트리 중 하나를 선택할 수 있습니다.

Thank you but I'm sorry to tell you there are some problems. I left SFO too long and forgot about the sense of SFO balance. I'm interested in this work but I'm also worried about researching only for it. I think it would be very long and complicated work. So I don't think I would work for it in near future. However, it is possible if I'm ready with proper conditions.

Infantry: Baracks, Mercenary Training Post....

This is not as hard as it sounds, we're talking about coming up with 10 or 12 words in total ;) And I would say 10 are already there, you just pick them with taste. ;)

- Optionally review the icon of the buildings, but I think it was ok

- Whenever you're stuck, ask others for help <3

- Give the building a name that fits the others in that chain (!!!) and fits the character, that's it. You don't have to come with these from thin air, you could e.g. just look at all building browsers, write down all words you liked and which races use them. SHOULD you decide to use standard buildings, then slot your character in with the building and tier it fits best. Keep balance and consistency in mind. Everything else about your mods I have nothing to complain about, they're great. Don't worry to much.

OK, one more thing: Using WH3MM and search term "[ec}" it drives my OCD wild how your mod names mix Capital and non-capitalized letters in an odd way. Make titles consitent, not
"custom building asset"

ToDo list with some of my tips is longer than the actual items could take to complete....

- Make a decision: you had original plans that made you create a seperate building chain. Do you still want it nowadays or do you just want to use the same standard recruiting buildings that all other unit mods use? Either way is fine for me and everybody else Don't do it because o "when I play SFO and I'm baked, a seperate chain makes it easier on my red eyes" please though!" ;)

- People take lorefulness way too seriously sometimes, but I do agree so far as I say to go against what everybody else is doing isn't the best way

- If you keep your own building, GET RID OF THE CHAIN and make its own building for each race and make it part of that eco system (e.g. Recruiting or Commerce or Military Support or whatever). There's no building chain with 1 building in the game (e.g. because it looks ugly and 1 modder going against the grain destroys any established order).
