Serpentina II LTGC

A lightweight, low profile gun carrier built en masse for the army of Pydrinck and the Coalition. With a powerful low velocity gun and thick frontal armour, the Serpentina II sees most frequent usage as an assault platform, bombarding static emplacements and flushing out entrenched infantry with airbursting shells, though it has also come into its own as an ersatz tank destroyer. Though compact and air transportable, the design is not without compromise, most notably in the position of the driver - directly below the main weapon, in a small compartment only accessible through a hatch on the underside of the hull, made so as to allow space for the cannon to traverse and depress effectively. Despite the unpopularity of this particular assignment, the design is generally well liked by the units that employ it for its versatility and highly mobile firepower, serving as the hammer to the anvil of the Coalition advance.
