Description: One of if not THE most well-known creature of the entire planet of Kanklith, these large predators typically live in the massive, barren desert that covers the majority of the planet; the Scorchlands, which they are named after. During the summer, when it becomes too hot even for them, they migrate to the tropical poles. Despite what many think, scorchcrabs are actually quadrupeds; their third set of "legs" aren't actually legs, but rather detachable appendages which break off when the scorchcrab is in danger, leaving the predator with nothing but two detachable pseudo-legs in its claws.
