Description
Summon Inner Demon now applies the Demonic Tutelage status on cast (as the tooltip would seem to indicate). The Demonic Tutelage ability itself is now a self-buff, and Inner Demon now grants 2 new additional abilities while Inner Demon is active: a taunt-alike and a ranged aoe.

FEATURES:
Inner Demon automatically grants the caster the Demonic Tutelage active defense buff on cast. It now displays the old Demonic Tutelage active defense radius before casting (and no longer auto-casts).
Demonic Tutelage is now a 0-cost buff that lasts for the current turn only but grants a significant stat boost.
Note: It currently uses a modified Silencing Stare icon. If you have both on your hotbar and keep getting them confused, just remember that the right one is always in the wrong spot, and the wrong spot is never in the right place.
• Terrify is now Evoke Terror and has a shiny new icon.
• New ability: Evoke Hate, a modified Provoke.
Compatible with Taunt Makes Sense as well as Cleric's Warfare Expanded.
• New ability: Evoke Power, a ranged aoe attack. Originally intended to be a giant fist slam and the namesake of this mod, but getting the proper vfx for it is beyond me >.<
110% damage, 2AP, 3m radius (cf Dazing Bolt). Applies Dazed for 1 turn if *physical* armor is depleted.

PREREQUISITES:
airi_VANGUARD is needed just for the new icons. It should be loaded before this mod (higher up on the in-game mod list, with a smaller number than this mod.)

COMPATIBILITY:
IN SUMMARY: I recommend loading any mods that affect either the Inner Demon abilities or the Provoke ability before this one.

✔ The taunt ability is compatible with both Taunt Makes Sense (which makes the Taunt status more useful) and Cleric's Warfare Expanded (which grants an additional ai-attracting "Provoking" status to the taunter).
✔ The "set Dazed if physical armor is depleted" effect is performed via script, and applies the vanilla Dazed status. Should be no compatibility issues there.
⚠ This mod edits the entries for all the Inner Demon-related abilities: Shout_InnerDemon, Target_Terrify, and Shout_DemonicTutelage. However, the only changes with gameplay value were those made to Demonic Tutelage, and the others could be overwritten if needed. Heck they could ALL be overwritten and the mod would still "work" (The Demonic Tutelage effect upon casting Inner Demon, as well as the new abilities, are added via script).
⚠ This mod edits the Inner Demon status (Status_CONSUME:INNER_DEMON) to attempt to replace the original Demonic Tutelage ability (Shout_DemonicTutelage) it with the new one (I couldn't get the new description to work...). Overwriting this entry will simply result in granting the original ability instead, which would still be my version (but probably with the vanilla description) unless THAT is overwritten as well.


LOCALIZATION:
• Not yet supported. I can try to get the language.xml's to work if somebody wants.

TO DO:
• Visual effects need some polishing.
• Thinking about changing the taunt into a conal aoe.
• One day I'll get the fist slam vfx that I've always dreamed of...

Hey. This mod looks cool but it seems it doesn't work.

I got Inner Demon and the only parts that work is summoning it and terrify. Demonic Tutelage immediately turns off on the turn I used it, Evoke Power doesn't hit anything, and the demon doesn't attack anything when it comes into range.

I am playing modded but I have 0 mods that alter Inner Demon. I do so like the concept though.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. The original Inner Demon duration is the same. The original Demonic Tutelage "active defense" effect is now built-in to the Inner Demon status, kind of, and lasts as long as your Inner Demon is active. So as long as your Inner Demon is out, he'll slap things that get close to you.

So now, because the old Demonic Tutelage no longer has a button since you don't need to cast it, there's a new "Demonic Tutelage" skill that's just a big buff to all your attributes until the end of your turn--it's a new ability altogether, but I used the name of the old ability because it was more fitting than the old one lol.

The duration is the same as vanilla. Essentially the skill is just stronger and gives you more abilities now.

The most confusing part IMO is that despite the name, I never got a proper punch visual effect to work :c

The description is kind of confusing to me, but in short: It is stronger, lets you do new abilities, but only lasts one turn?
