Axolotl II LTJMC

The Axolotl II fills a similar doctrinal role to its screw-propelled predecessors; that of a highly mobile, all terrain platform to project heavy firepower where the enemy least expects it. Using an experimental turbofan design, the platform is however capable of far higher top speeds and greater agility than terrestrial equivalents, and its large battery of missiles allows it to perform evasive manoeuvres without fear of impacting its accuracy in combat. Its only true weaknessess are its high operating costs in both fuel and ammunition, and the potential vulnerability of its lifts platforms, with even the loss of a single one severely impacting its stability and combat effectiveness. Despite this, it has undeniably proven its worth to even its doubters, and become a perennial favourite in Coalition rapid reaction and mobile artillery divisions.
